Man you tricked them all you played the fool, so damn easy to bleed! In 1476, William Caxton set up Englands first priniting press in Westminster, London. He had learned the technique in Europe, where thousands of books had already been printed and already published.
Printing spread fast and, by the end of the Early Modern period, over 20 000 titles had been printed in England, from huge tomes to tiny pamphlets, and manuscript books (hand copied) were all but obsolete.
